Bouabdellah, born 1977 in Moscow, living in Paris, combines multilayered cultural systems that include even religion. In video and installation forms, she elegantly asks questions on the meanings possessed by the overlap of culture and the identities within people. For this event, she plans to present a new installation that combines the Arabic word for "love" with images of the Kama Sutra.
