- メルヴェ・ベルクマン
- Born in Istanbul in 1977 and currently based in the same city. Merve Berkman's work is largely based on various scenes from her daily urban life and portraits of those living in the city. Berkman also aims to reproduce moments of tranquility by using familiar visual languages found in ordinary lives. During the Aichi Triennale, she exhibits videos that deal with psychological and social themes on billboards throughout the city in an attempt to create a kind of magic in a typical urban setting.
