Born in Osaka in 1972 and currently based in Berlin. Shiota's work is based on her personal memories and feelings. She uses various media to express anxiety about her own existence, identity and feelings of absence. For the Aichi Triennale, Shiota plans to show her most recent work _ an impressively poetic and beautiful installation.
