Rosas, founded in 1983, is a dance ensemble that represents Belgium dance companies. The ensemble is led by choreographer, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, who also serves as the artistic director. Rosas used to be a resident company at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie. It has been acclaimed and performed worldwide at such places as the Théâtre National de l'Opéra de Paris and New York Lincoln Center. "Rosas danst Rosas," is a Rosas' debut piece, which led to a boom of contemporary dance in Japan. It will be performed in Japan exclusively for Aichi Triennale 2010.
