チェルフィッチュ (岡田利規)
chelfitsch, founded in 1997, is a theatrical company led by playwright / director, Toshiki Okada. The name chelfitsch came from babyish mispronunciation of the word 'selfish'. Lines in Japanese that symbolize modern days, and sloppy gestures in everyday life implemented in its work are innovative and original. This uniqueness brought the company into the spotlight, and the company draws people's attention from Japan and abroad. At the request of Aichi Triennale 2010 and other theaters abroad, chelfitsch is going to produce a new work.
