《Makotocluv runs through downtown shopping street》

This group was launched in 2001 by Makoto Enda, dancer and choreographer, who encouraged his fellows. Inside and outside of spaces, action/inaction, pop and wiggy, this group creates "out-of-domain" stage performance works in search of needs of presentation activities in various borders. Not only in theaters, their field of activities ranges from gallery spaces in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa and National Arts Center in Tokyo's Roppongi, cinemas, regional government offices, train, to open air spaces such as shopping streets to present their site-specific attractions.
