Filmmaker, artist born in Tokyo in 1972. Ishida creates abstract drawings and animations based on the concept of introducing the notion of time into painting. He is known primarily for a unique body of work that features architectural and musical references, including the films "Gestalt" (1999) and "The Art of Fugue" (2001, presented by the Aichi Arts Center), as well as the video installation "Wall of the Sea" (2007).
