Naoyuki Tsuji

Artist born in Shizuoka in 1970. Active in Kanagawa. Tsuji is known for his unique animation works made using drawing charcoal, such as "Rules of the Night" (1995). His images depict traces of movement that hover somewhere in between motion and metamorphosis. Tsuji's representative work "Children of the Shadows " (2006, presented by the Aichi Arts Center) received an honorable mention at the Ann Arbor Film Festival, USA in 2007.
