Donghoon Kim
金東薫
Filmmaker born in Jeonju, South Korea in 1977. Kim won an award for excellence at the Image Forum Festival 2009 for his film "Mr. Sakurai at the Ticket Counter" (2009), and also showed his work at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival in 2010. Shooting on 8mm film, Kim creates works with a distinctive filmic structure and aesthetic.
