Born in Niigata

BA/MA from Tokyo Gakugei University and M.Mus from Tokyo University of the Arts. Completed the Tokyo Nikikai Opera Foundation master class, upon which she received Encouragement and Merit Awards. Grand prize winner at the 44th Niigata Prefecture Music Competition. Her operatic roles include Adina in L'elisir d'amore, the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Musetta in La Bohème, and Adele in Die Fledermaus. In 2015 she was cast as Cleopatra in the Nikikai new wave opera Giulio Cesare and as the Queen of the Night in the Tokyo Nikikai production of The Magic Flute (directed by Miyamoto Amon) and was well received, and in November of the same year appeared as Pepi in the Tokyo Nikikai production of Wiener Blut. She is similarly well received in her concert performances of Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” Handel’s “Messiah,” and Bach’s “Coffee Cantata” among others. Member of Nikikai.
