BA in from Hokusei Gakuen University Department of Literature; B.Mus /D.M.A from Tokyo University of the Arts. Among the many roles Suzuki has performed are Ferrando in the Tokyo Nikikai production of Così fan tutte, Count Almaviva in Hyogo Performing Arts Center’s The Barber of Seville, Paul in the Biwako Hall performance of Die tote Stadt, Hisao in the New National Theatre Tokyo’s Rokumeikan and Mokichi in Silence, and Kashiwagi in Kanagawa Kenmin Hall’s Kinkakuji. In particular his many performances as Tamino in The Magic Flute include productions at Hyogo Performing Arts Center conducted by Sado Yutaka, at Nissay Theatre conducted by Kamioka Toshiyuki, and at Tokyo Nikikai conducted by Theodor Guschlbauer (2010) and Dennis Russell Davies (2015). He has also received critical acclaim on the international stage for his role as the madwomen in Benjamin Britten’s Curlew River performed at churches in London and Orford. He released Schubert’s Winterreise based on the modern translation by Matsumoto Takashi (Gakken). Member of Nikikai.
