Through installations, online interventions and research-based projects, Natascha Sadr Haghighian interrogates the politics of representation. Pointing at the multiple implications of scientific, aesthetic and historical narratives, the artist problematizes the intricate political aspects of social and institutional structures. Sadr Haghighian has exhibited widely, including The Spiral and the Square: Exercises in Translatability, Bonniers Konsthall, (Stockholm, Sweden, 2011); De Paso, Capella MACBA (Barcelona, Spain, 2011); and Documenta 13 (Kassel, Germany, 2012).
