Artist duo of Chishino Kurumada (born 1977 in Fukushima) and Takashi Tsuchiya (born 1977 in Saitama), active since 2001. They transform the viewer into a participant by interposing works of art inspired by the connections between everyday life situations, phenomena and people, and fashion a "getting along somehow by supporting each other" relationships among participants, or between the respective artwork and the participant. Their aim is to establish art as something accessible that enhances daily life. The duo launched various projects including "spo-ken", "dondoko!", "jitenshabu", "skin project" (collaboration with Ichiro Sato) and others in recent years.
