Painter, born 1981 in Tokyo. Creates paintings and drawings from materials familiar from daily life. Standout works include "Masking Plant", an image of proliferating plants made with masking tape, as well as mural paintings made with mud and earth picked up on the respective location. Also hosts various workshops and collaborative projects with architects, musicians and dancers. Received the Ohara Museum of Art Prize at the VOCA 2009 exhibition.
