Asher Fisch

アッシャー・フィッシュ

Born in Israel in 1958, Asher Fisch served as the music director of the Israeli Opera and the principal guest conductor for the Seattle Opera. He conducts in main opera houses worldwide such as the Vienna State Opera, the Vienna Volksoper, the Berlin State Opera, La Scala, the Royal Opera House, and the Metropolitan Opera House. He has a reputation, especially on the Wagner, among his various repertoires. His CD called 'The Ring of the Nibelung' gained critical acclaim. At the Vienna Volksoper, he served as a music director until the year 2000, where he received critical acclaim as an opera conductor. He has been focusing on a new performance in an Israel opera where he serves as a music director today. He is also a disciple of Daniel Barenboim and a great pianist.
