Arturo Chacón-Cruz was born in Mexico and is a budding tenor singer. After studying at the Houston Grand Opera, he made his debut in his role as Pinkerton in the `Madama Butterfly` at the Washington Opera. Thereafter, he has performed as the hero at various theaters in the world such as Teatro di San Carlo, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro La Fenice, the Berlin State Opera, and the Los Angeles Opera. He is an up-and-coming personality and stands out amongst singers of the same generation. He attracts large audiences with his resounding tone, clear high tenor voice, and his expressions. It is being said he is a successor of the famous tenor singer Ramon Vargas from Mexico.
