After attending the Conservatorio di Musica di Benevento in Italy, he studied under Franco Corelli and Paride Venturi. Made his opera debut in roles as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and Rodolfo in La Bohème. Described as "the tenor who perfectly incarnates the role of the romantic hero helped by his powerful and energetic voice" in the Italian magazine, La Nazione. In particular, he has sung Pinkerton at the Arena di Verona under the direction of Franco Zeffirelli, at the Staatstheater Stuttgart with conductor Nicola Luisotti, as well as at the Festival Puccini. Particularly fond of Puccini, he possesses an ideal tenor voice.
